Every year the performing arts sector in Ontario looks to one annual conference that facilitates touring and cultural development in our communities. That conference is Ontario Contact.
Artists and managers representing regions from across Canada join Ontario presenters to experience samples of performances and talk about industry concerns. Activities include artist showcases, workshops, keynote speakers, receptions, networking opportunities and a trade show. Attendees include artists, artist managers, agents, as well as professional and amateur presenters ranging in experience from novice to mature.
The conference has been at the leading edge of the performing arts sector in Ontario for 40 plus years and is the key tool for volunteer presenters who represent a significant number of performing arts opportunities in the province.
